In the span of three months, Jax Forrest has gone from high school student to the No. 1 seeded wrestler at the NCAA Championships.
Forrest, who is coming off a Big 12 title last weekend, is undefeated since enrolling at OSU and beginning his college wrestling career a semester early.

The Cowboys are sending all 10 wrestlers to the national tournament, with nine of them earning a top-eight seed.

Only 184-pound redshirt freshman Zack Ryder, who battled through a dislocated shoulder at the Big 12 Championships to earn his automatic bid, was outside the top eight. Ryder was seeded No. 22.
Behind Forrest, OSU freshman Sergio Vega is the No. 2 seed at 141, while Troy Spratley (125), Landon Robideau (157) and Dee Lockett (165) earned No. 5 seeds.

OU’s highest seed is 197-pounder DJ Parker at No. 8.
